1. Introduction

The Institute motivates the faculty members to take up consultancy works from Industry.

3. The incentives to faculty members taking part in consultancy projects are as follows.

A. Career Advancement Scheme

Faculty members applying for placement under career advancement scheme are given grade points as follows.

  • 10 points for every project of value Rupees Three Lakh
  • 5 points for every project of value One Lakh

B. Revenue sharing and incentive

The consultancy fees of various types of projects and the revenue sharing is as detailed in table 1 given below. In all the projects Five percent of the faculty share will be given to the respective Department Development Fund.
