Class Rooms And Tutorial Rooms

The class rooms are spacious, well-lit, well-furnished and equipped with modern teaching aids like Audio System, Over Head Projectors and LCDs. Theory class rooms are arranged in a special area that are isolated from other interferences. Departments Rooms are arranged in the same block classrooms for H.O.Ds and Faculty. Each classroom is arranged with a seating capacity of 66 students. In addition to the theory classrooms, Tutorial rooms are also arranged.

CEN­TRAL LIBRARY

The mis­sion of the Cen­tral Library is to facil­i­tate cre­ation of new knowl­edge through acqui­si­tion, orga­ni­za­tion and dis­sem­i­na­tion of knowl­edge resources and pro­vid­ing for value added ser­vices. The library is spread over 6400sq ft and has a seat­ing capac­ity for 150 stu­dents. The library has an excel­lent col­lec­tion of books, jour­nals and non-book mate­ri­als in Sci­ence, Engi­neer­ing, Tech­nol­ogy, Human­i­ties, Social sci­ence and Man­age­ment and His­tory. It main­tains sep­a­rate col­lec­tions of Ref­er­ence Books, Bound vol­umes of Jour­nals, Tech­ni­cal Reports, Project Reports, Sem­i­nar reports, Pre­vi­ous ques­tion papers, CD-ROMs, DVDs, Peri­od­i­cals, etc. At present, the library has a col­lec­tion of around 9,254 titles and 21,766 vol­umes of books and Ref­er­ence mate­ri­als. Besides stan­dard text­books, the library con­tains books of lit­er­a­ture and gen­eral interest.

Central Computing Facility

The Central Computing Facility is a spacious and well-equipped hall with a large number of computers, projection facilities, and modern learning resources. It also features a dedicated platform for conducting live interactive classes, demonstrations, presentations, and group discussions. The facility provides an ideal environment for technology-enabled learning, collaboration, and academic activities.

Transportation

The College has its own transport infrastructure to provide convenient conveyance for the day-scholars and staff from nearby areas. Transport facility is arranged to cover in and around the Trivandrum town supporting conveyance. Pick-up and drop facilities are made available keeping in mind the convenience of all those who avail of the institution’s transport facilities.

The Skill Delivery Platform Kerala (SDPK) is a Government of Kerala initiative aimed at providing engineering and polytechnic students with industry-relevant, technology-enabled skill development and training. The platform connects educational institutions with industry experts and technology hubs, enabling students to gain exposure to emerging technologies through interactive and remote learning. SDPK leverages Hi-Tech classrooms and advanced telepresence technologies to facilitate expert-led training programmes while fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
