The Space Club at LBS Institute of Technology for Women is a dynamic student-led initiative dedicated to promoting space science, research, innovation, and exploration. The club brings together passionate women engineers from different departments to work on real-world space technology projects and develop practical technical skills. The club is the driving force behind WESAT, a student satellite mission focused on studying solar irradiance and UV variations from ground level and in Earth’s atmosphere. With collaborations involving VSSC, ISRO, IN-SPACe, the Department of Space, and the Government of India, the club provides students with valuable opportunities to contribute to the field of space research Through projects, research activities, and hands-on development, the Space Club encourages curiosity, teamwork, and innovation while inspiring more women to pursue and contribute to the future of space exploration.
