The Diploma in Civil Engineering is a three-year, career-oriented programme that provides students with strong fundamentals in civil engineering, construction technology, structural systems, surveying, and infrastructure development. The programme combines theory with practical, hands-on training, enabling students to develop technical skills in engineering drawing, surveying, building construction, estimation and costing, structural analysis, soil mechanics, transportation, and modern construction technologies.

The course prepares students for employment in construction, infrastructure, and civil engineering industries, as well as for higher studies and lateral entry to B.Tech programmes. Students also gain exposure to industry-relevant tools, laboratory practices, site supervision, project development, and emerging construction technologies, helping them build a strong foundation for a successful technical career.
