Data science is an inter-disciplinary domain that involves the use of various tools and algorithms aimed at extracting meaningful information or useful patterns from huge volumes of data which may or may not be structured. The domain encompasses fields like machine learning, data mining, big data analytics etc. The FDP will cover various topics like data modelling, computational solutions with real time case studies. The programme aims at flattening the learning curve by explaining the topics from first principles and with hands-on sessions.
