LBSITW is the only engineering college for women in the Government sector in the state of Kerala. The Institute offers B.Tech programs in Electronics and Communication, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology & Civil Engineering and M.Tech programs in Signal Processing and Computer Science and Engineering. Over the years, the intake of students has increased and as of now with three full-fledged departments offering five undergraduate, two postgraduate and several doctoral programmes. All these programs are under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering started in the year 2001, offers B.Tech in Electronics and Communication & Engineering (ECE) and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation (AEI) since 2001 and M.Tech in Signal Processing from 2012 onwards. Instruction Process is systematic, well planned & uninterrupted in all respect. Our students have steady and consistent performance in university exams & secured several ranks in the University.
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is starting a new B.Tech program in Electronics and Computer Engineering for the academic year 2022-23.In the current scenario, there is a global demand for competent and qualified electronics and computer engineers. Electronics and Computer Engineering branch integrates these two engineering fields to meet the joint demands of electronics and computer industries in today’s world.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering
Department of Computer Science and Engineering started in the year 2001, offers two batches of B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Computer Science and Engineering is highly technical and demanding discipline that offers rewarding and challenging possibilities for the students. It is a broad and flexible degree program with the curriculum specifically designed to reflect the depth and breadth of computer science, which tend to develop strong theoretical and analytical skills. Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering started in the year 2012, offers B.Tech programme in Civil Engineering with an annual intake of 60 students. Instruction Process is systematic, well planned & uninterrupted in all respect. In addition to the regular curriculum, a number of clubs have been set up in association with the department to improve the technical and extra-curricular activities of the students. Students here can directly participate in various civil engineering consultancy works. Our students have steady and consistent performance in university exams & secured several ranks in the University.
